Homework & Communication Communication folder MUST be checked daily by teacher & parent(s) MUST be brought to school each day Remove papers daily Behavior calendar needs to be initialed by parent for yellow or below Homework Grade level weekly menu see example Repetition of skills already taught Weekly reading—minimum of 60 minutes/week (weekends included!) Skip count (2’s, 5’s, 10’s) forward & backwards Sort & count money Practice addition & subtraction facts (flash cards for fluency) Technology (zearn.org, Word, code.org, web links or other resources online) Telling time using an analog clock (not only digital) Go over the homework with your child and have them make corrections if mistakes were made.
