NEOnet Sps Statistics There are a total of 72 educational entities including; 22 districts, 1 ESC, 2 Career Centers, 47 Community Schools and 2 Digital Academies in the NEOnet consortium using the Special Services software. End User Requirements

Special Services Survey The Special Services Survey was sent out in April and the results were given at the Educational Operating Committee Meeting. The survey included enhancements and defects. The results will be sent to Software Answers.

Universal Special Education Forms Project Survey Office of Exception Children Per phone call with the ODE Collecting data from the survey to recommend a product Not developing a software program Survey will be sent out around the week of May 3rd. Window will be open for 2 weeks

DASL - Leap Year DASL was not accepting IEP events and services that included the Feb 29th (2/29/2016 to 02/28/2017) when entering or importing data. End date had to be changed to 02/27/2017 DASL is aware of the issue No plans to fix Put an enhancement request to include Feb 29th for future leap year(s).

DASL Release 15.2.8 DASL Import Screens - these screens have been updated to include the new tests Student Next Generation Assessments (CN) Student End of Course Exam (GE)

Sps Release 15.3.0 Parent and General Invitation the Import Contact icon has now been moved from the top of the screen directly onto the form next to the text field.

Sps Release 15.3.0 District Banks Access When switching from the Default Class to a different class, District Banks are now available to all users.

Sps Release 15.3.0 District Bank Access User can now see and access the District Banks from the Quick Task Menu.

Sps Release 15.3.0 EMIS Review Report Performance Improvement The length of time allowed for the report to generate has been increased Originally only allowed for approximately 2 minutes Time has been extended to 10 minutes

Sps Release 15.3.0 Defect Resolutions Open Task Oops Error, no longer displays Occurred when opening certain forms Saving Forms All data is saved Performance Enhancements Completed Tasks Performance has been improved Class Print Attempting to print forms for a large number of students Additional time has been given up to 10 minutes Completed Task Switching Districts Moving between Completed Tasks and Open Task Is Successful without error

Sps Release 15.3.3 Fall Block 2017 and Fall Block 2016 have been added to the drop-down lists in the DATE OF TEST column on all Statewide and District Wide Testing forms (IEP 12, SP 3, and Section 504 Plan 2)requirement.

Sps Release 15.3.3 When you are completing an IEP 12 or SP 3 form and select a high school course in the AREA drop-down list that has an end of course exam, a new yellow box displays beneath the table. In this box, select the check box next to a course name if you want to excuse the student from the consequences of not passing the End of Course graduation

Sps Release 15.3.3 Performance improvements have been made so that you can delete unnecessary task pages without encountering time out issues.

Completing Tasks All Tasks should be Completed with the exception of valid Progress Reports Tasks by the end of the school year. Any task left open at the end of the school year can be overwritten with any form changes. To find tasks that are still left open, run the Sps Open Task Report by Owner (blue icon) for all buildings. This will give you the student name, task, start/end date and Task Owner.

Sign Off Sheets We would like to have the sign-off sheets sent to NEOnet by Friday, June 24th This includes IEP, ETR, 504, BIP, SOP, SP, WEP, Other Tasks and Progress Reports (2014-2015). I will send this out electronically as well.

Shut Down The tentative plan is to shut down the ProgressBook Suite July 1, 2016 at 3:00pm for maintenance, rollover, and installation of the 16.0.0 release. Should this date change we will send out an email. GradeBook & Sps down approximately one month. DASL will remain up. Please send email addresses of users who will need to write tasks over the summer. NEOnet will email everyone needing access when Special Services is available.

Beginning of Year 2016-2017 Admin Training Beginning of the year training will be held on the following dates in the NEOnet Lab. Monday, August 8, 2016 9:00 – 11:00 Wednesday, August 10, 2016 1:00 – 3:00 This training will review the District Banks Administration, Student Contacts, Case Management Class setup and User Roles/Security and changes to the software
