What were some of the hardships immigrants faced? They faced discrimination They faced not getting jobs (The managers wouldn’t hire immigrants because there Chinese , Irish , etc.) getting a small home ( most immigrants got tenements ) petercavanaugh.wordpress.com phillyhistory.org

Which immigrant groups faced the most prejudice? Why? The Chinese were the immigrant group that faced the most prejudice because they were more of them than any other immigrant group in the U.S. that's what started Ellis island
