TBB ETHERNET The TBB ETHERNET benefits include: SYMMETRICAL SPEEDS – upload and download at the same rate GUARANTEED BANDWIDTH – Non-contended bandwidth between the customer’s premises and the local exchange, EXCESS USAGE CAP – that limits the amount a customer pays for excess data usage USE OF NEW IMPROVED LINE ENCODING – EFM (Ethernet First Mile) is a more efficient use of bandwidth, enabling applications with small packet sizes. FLEXIBLE SERVICE PLANS - allowing customers to upgrade or downgrade speed and usage options at any time without penalty.

TBB ETHERNET product features include A single static IP address on every service connection (port).  Additional IP addresses are available on request, if required for networking solutions.  Business Technical Helpdesk available 24hours, 7 days a week. An individual, permanently assigned, uncontested connection or “port” on Telstra’s Australian Internet backbone network. Telstra will install and manage a Network Terminating Unit. This NTU supports a 10/100 Ethernet port and provides simple and cost effective connectivity into a corporate WAN. 10 Business Mail POP mailboxes, including SMTP (Telstra SMTP mail server).
