Internship Guidelines Summer 2017 Semester

What to Do: Email Soft Copy of Résumé to OPA Forwarding Letter (3 copies/student) from OPA at a time (Only If required, Not Mandatory). Submission of the Organization’s Acceptance Letter to OPA within 7-10 days of joining the organization. Topic Selection for the Report from the Supervisor. Submission of Proposal to the Supervisor. Submission of Draft Report to the Supervisor. Submission of Final Report to OPA

Internship Report: Student is expected to prepare and submit an Internship Report during the semester. Two types of Internship Reports (Discuss with your academic and organizational supervisor on which format you should or want to work on). Internship Affiliation Report Internship Research Report The proposal and report format must be followed for the specific type of report.

Some Important Dates: Internship defense will be held in AIUB Campus Buildings 1 and 5 in Banani 1. Submission of First Draft : 23rd July 2017 2. Submission of Final draft report to the faculty supervisors  : 20th August 2017 3. Final Report submission to the Teaching Assistants (TA) : 28th August 2017 (BBA) & 29th August 2017(MBA) 4. Date of Viva : 7th September 2017 If necessary, dates may be changed by OPA under notification to the students.

Some Important Points: Keep regular contact with Supervisor & OPA. Provide every update about your internship to OPA & Supervisor in due time. Check your e-mail account regularly. If you are posted outside Dhaka, contact through email or phone. Must keep your cell phone active [The number given in your CV and to OPA]
