Issues or problems encountered and solutions: Project 11: Security and Privacy of the Communication Channels among IoT Devices REU Student: Dean Wasil Graduate mentor: Omar Nakhila Faculty Mentors: Dr. Zou and Dr. Turgut June 18 – June 25, 2016: Week 5 Accomplishments: Search for updated mobile network architectures of major mobile providers Most recent: late 2014 Started testing Set laptop up as an access point Used Ghost Phisher then later switched to Airbase-ng Issues or problems encountered and solutions: Could not get a DNS server, DHCP server, nor webpage redirect to work Lack of documentation and forum posts on Ghost Phisher and Airbase-ng Flu Plans for next week: Continue brainstorming attack implementation ideas and testing them
