4 Common Coaching Mistakes Too uptight before competition Overload the athletes with too much new stuff at one time Stress the athletes out before a big competition Failure to give athletes adequate feedback on how to improve - Video

If you aren’t getting good feedback, there are 3 things you can do 1. Take the time to thank you coach when he tells or shows you something that really helps 2. Learn to ask your coach for clarification on his feedback. Ask things like, “What specifically should I focus on this time?” 3. If you still don’t get good feedback, then learn to self-evaluate

Things you can do… Attempt to communicate – most coaches want to Be diplomatic and positive, not attacking or complaining Talk to an assistant. Be careful with this one
