Seventh Grade World Studies Mr. Keener/ Mr. Lazazzara

Second Semester Expectations 1 semester away from being an 8th Grade A couple months from GA Milestones Know daily expectations Being Prepared

Expectations on Entering my classroom Be ON TIME- If your previous class ends at 2:25, you should be in this room by 2:28 at latest. If you have two tardies within a week that will result in the remainder of the week at silent lunch. BE PREPARED The only thing that should be on your desktop is your SS interactive notebook, your class notebook, and your agenda. Before anything, you need to write the EQ and if you have any homework down on that date in your agenda. Then, you need to work on your daily warm-up that will be posted on the front board. ALL the previous information should be done within a 7/8 minute time frame.

Asking Questions No questions should be asked without raising your hand. No hand should be raised until you complete EVERYTHING needed upon entering the classroom (Agenda, Warm-up, etc.) If your question doesn’t pertain to the day’s lesson please hold it until the end of the class. DO NOT raise your hand to ask to go to the restroom, water fountain, or vending machine.

Restrooms/Vending Machines Don’t ask to leave the room if the sign says no one can leave. If the sign says you can leave. 1= Restroom 2=Water 3=Vending Machine Just because the sign says people can leave the room. If your behavior isn’t worthy, then you can not.

Sharpening Pencils/ Trash Please please please raise your hand to get out of your seat. If we are in the middle of a discussion or lesson do not get up. That is a distraction to those around you. If we are in the middle of an activity, or you are working independently or in a group that is fine to get up.

Accountability This is a new semester. Make sure you turn your work in. Notebooks need to be updated. Friday- Report Cards What you need to get to 140.
