Tech 7 #3 DESIGN A DOGHOUSE In Sketchup

Requirements TOP 3’ wide 4’ deep 3’ tall SIDE FRONT

An opening that is 2’- 6” tall

To prepare for the opening, place three vertical lines as shown!

Place a 2-Point Arc, as shown.

Delete all but the dimension lines shown and the opening.

Draw a 4’ line on the top of the box, as shown. The line extends 2’ from the middle in both directions.

Draw 2’ tall vertical line in the middle, as shown!

Draw lines from the top of the vertical line to the ends of the 4’ horizontal line, as shown.

DELETE the vertical line.

ROTATE to the backside of the triangle and PULL it back across the doghouse.

The BASIC doghouse.

Add a DOG from the 3D Warehouse!

Now decorate it and make it special! You must add THREE things: a window, bed, custom feeding area, porch, fence, mailbox, name plate, etc. They can be designed or downloaded!
