JOINT NON-LETHAL WEAPONS PROGRAM DoD has an organized effort (since 1996) Commandant, US Marine Corps designated Executive Agent Deputy Commandant Plans/Policy chairs Flag Officer oversight panel Solicit Industry engagement for technological solutions to meet emerging challenges and opportunities The Needs & Requirements Panel will highlight our specific desires and challenges 2

Non-lethal Weapons, a new and emerging capability for the DoD RELEVANCE Non-lethal Weapons, a new and emerging capability for the DoD Industry’s engagement needed to bring this important capability to the warfighter “If war is forced upon us, we will fight in a just cause and by just means – sparing, in every way we can, the innocent.” (President George W.
