Prepositions We use prepositions, such as in, on, under and next to to talk about positions.

Example 1 Where is the rabbit? It is next to the cage.

Example 2 Where are the hamsters? They are on the desk.

Children, now it’s your turn.

Question 1 Where is the goldfish? It is in the fishbowl.

Question 2 Where is the cat? It is under the bed.

Question 3 Where are the dogs? They are in the box.

Question 4 Where is the bird? It is on the chair.

They are next to the sofa. Question 5 Where are the cats? They are next to the sofa.

Question 6 Where is the hamster? It is under the chair.
