Exercise Scope Executive Directors Invited Corporate Leads / Functions Regional Director and Team Local Area Team as agreed No external entities / partners are planned to be included for this exercise however, further consideration will be given to this and decisions made at end of Nov.

Objectives Provide a platform for Company Staff and Executive Team to rehearse/experience incident management with our new arrangements. Considering effectiveness of coordination and management efforts and the locations of staff involved. Rehearse the management of a significant incident at the strategic “Gold” Company level, identifying and determining: critical decision making requirements timeliness of these decisions within a complex environment Utilize experiences of staff with balanced approach to appropriate new system expected and required responses Identify future Incident response training needs for staff. Provide evidence as part of an exercise programme that assures the Department of Health and NHS Partners that NHS Property Services is effective in its role in incident management.

Format The format for the exercise will be a Command Post Exercise with staff involved at various locations, mainly 120 the Broadway, Wimbledon. The incident will create strategic issues and operational challenges to work through and structure responses Briefings and information requests are set in a safe yet time pressured environment. Feedback will be required from the “Incident Management Team” at the end of the exercise. During time outs / exercise play will cease.
