RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NATIONAL / INTERSTATE STANDARDS AND THE CORRESPONDING INTERNATIONAL / REGIONAL (EUROPEAN) STANDARDS Three degrees of national and interstate standard conformity with the international (regional) standard Identical (IDT): an identical standard must not contain changes to the structure, technical contents or presentation. Editing corrections to the technical contents of an identical standard are allowed. Modified (MOD): a modified standard contains changes to the technical contents and/or structural changes, where the reasons for such changes are provided. May contain editing corrections allowed in identical standards.
