HOW TO FIND A BOOK
WHERE IS THE OPAC? The Online Public Access Computer program is an online library catalog that allows you to search the library for resources. To access OPAC, just select the red magnifying glass icon on the library computer desktop.
OPAC This computer application allows us to search all of the items in the library. Users search a library catalog principally to locate books and other library materials. We have over 8,000 items in this library!
You Can Search by Title Simply insert the title of book you wish to search into the title search box.
You Can Search by Author Who is this author? You can enter the author’s last name into the search box to locate the books that the author has written in our library.
You Can Search by Subject Subject searching means using search terms that have been devised by the creators of the catalog to aid searching. For example, use the search term “France” to find out about the country of France.
You Can Search by Keyword A Keyword search looks for particular words anywhere in the catalog. For example, you can use the word “frog” to search for books with this word in the title, subject, and other places in the book.
