Case Study: Richard Asked to leave school at the age of 7 for poor academic performance and behavior High IQ scores but still struggled for decent grades. Later in life, found it difficult to keep a job because of lack of focus and often left tasks unfinished. Finally went to private psychiatrist who diagnosed him with ADHD and prescribed him with Ritalin Ritalin helped, but later decided he would need counseling.
