The first module will focus on information that has not previously been covered in competency. Topics within this module for 2013 will include selected aspects of pulmonary, hemodynamics, and antiarrhythmic pharmacology. The second module will focus on what we are calling our “Core Clinical Business”. The contents of the portfolio are intended to showcase your practice throughout the year. Bring your portfolio with you to your annual competency meeting. Contents of the Portfolio include: Your continuing education certificate for the last 2 years (2012 and 2013). Certification (CCRN, CMC, etc.) and certificate (ACLS) verifications of achievement and renewals Your completed 2013 self assessment of all the “Linking Knowledge to Practice” expectations for the Heart Center core curriculum This assessment is a reassessment as you completed the same assessment last year. Evidence of your progress towards the goals you established during 2012 competency Any portfolio requirements from the 2013 modules Optional: Any and all other items you would like to include to showcase your clinical and professional accomplishments.
