Transferability of the approach Technology Pact Estonian Technology Pact (2012) Flemish STEM Pact, (development STEM platform) Danish Technology Pact (TBA by Ministry of Business in fall 2017) National programmes Jet-Net.dk, based on Dutch Jet-Net programme Platform-approach Development Hungarian STEM platform Taskforce meetings & informal support I’d like to conclude the first part of this presentation by sharing some best practices that have been proven successful when transferring them abroad… The Jet-Net example Jet-Net (Youth and Technology Network Netherlands) is a joint initiative of leading Dutch technology companies and secondary (pre-college) schools. The programme aims to increase the amount of students that choose STEM through one-on-one school-company partnerships. The programme was founded by five leading companies (Shell, Philips, AkzoNobel, Unilver and DSM). Today, the programme involves over 90 technology companies, reaching around 60.000 students a year and covering around 40% of all pre-university secondary schools. A Danish version of the Jet-Net programme (Jet-Net.dk) was successfully launched in 2012, growing to 60 companies in less than three years.
