Standards Based Education Update 84 303 total instructional hours provided through the foundational Understanding the College- and Career-Readiness Standards online course that’s been conducted seven times have completed the online course and includes Adult Educators, Program Leaders & Staff, and State Staff http://literacy.coe.uga.edu/pdtr/registration

Standards Based Education Update 7 Georgia Adult Education Curriculum Framework and CCR Standards Workshops were provided in: Acworth (2x), Chattahoochee Technical College Cumming, Lanier Technical College Lawrenceville, Gwinnett Technical College Statesboro, Ogeechee Technical College Tifton, Southern Regional Technical College Warner Robins, Central Georgia Technical College Future opportunities for instructors to receive the workshop’s training, along with requirements for participation in the FY2019 workshop will be addressed at the TCSG Spring Leadership Summit.

Standards Based Education Update 3 Post-workshop assignments are due for each program (group work deliverables) before the end of this fiscal year. Adult Educator Spring Institute 72 Professional development hours were provided through the Adult Educator Spring Institute: Day 1 Workshop: Building Student Knowledge and Understanding In Science Day 2 Workshop: Activities for Promoting Conversations and Discussions in the Classroom Day 3 Workshop: Building Student Knowledge and Understanding In Social Studies Institutes held at: Acworth, Chattahoochee Technical College Macon, Central Georgia Technical College Statesboro, Ogeechee Technical College Tifton, Southern Regional Technical College
