1984 Anticipation Guide

Number One To assure our freedom, the government should be allowed to spy on its citizens.

Number Two Patriotism means supporting your country and government even if you disagree with what they are doing.

Number Three People who are judged a serious threat to our society should be held without charges.

Number Four The government has a right to know what you read/watch/listen to in order to determine who may be a threat.

Number Five Society would be safer if we had security cameras to catch potential crimes.

Number Six The only way to have peace is to prepare for war.

Number Seven For an idea to exist, we must have words to express it.
