Innovation Theme: “Reinvent Value-Added Time” Do we truly know how much time is spent actually taking care of the patient? In today's healthcare industry we know that everybody is busy. We know physician offices are not accepting patients, so, they must be busy. We know EDs are busy, we know hospitals and clinicians are busy, but what are we busy on? Are our well-trained providers performing at the top of their license? We want to know how much time providers spend actually taking care of patients. Consider: Physicians Nurses Technicians and technologists Administrative personnel We are looking for the most revolutionary ideas/ways to accurately track time spent in direct patient care. We want to see what that looks like and how you would use that information to improve the proportion of time actually spent on care, leading to higher productivity.
