Presentation transcript:

Warm Up 12/7 Imagine that your parent(s), who you feel are already acting suspiciously, sent your childhood friends to spy on you. How would you feel about this? How would you react? Why? Now, imagine that you have a deep, dark secret. The secret is based on something terrible that you did, something that you feel guilty about as it eats you up (i.e., Once, when you were mad, you kicked a puppy). After some time, someone who seems to suspect your dastardly deed forces you to watch a Youtube video of someone doing the same crime that you’re guilty of. How would you react? Why? Explain.

Learning Targets I can personally relate to plot points found in Hamlet in order to more deeply comprehend events in Act II. I can work independently, or with an elbow partner, to read Act II of Hamlet in order to complete a study guide. I can participate in a review of this study guide in order to label each question by its appropriate scene and line.

Study Guide – Act II Get a copy of Hamlet. Open it to page 71, the beginning of Act II. Find the Act II Study Guide on Google Classroom. Copy and paste ALL QUESTIONS into your journal. Read over the Act, and respond, briefly but accurately, to assigned questions on the study guide. Do the work independently, but you may ask your elbow partner for help if need be. You have 20 minutes.
