5th Grade Writing Assessment Students wrote questions using the Question Formulation Technique.

4th Grade Chesapeake Bay Inquiry Students determined important ideas and organized notes using Jot Thoughts.

4th Grade Chesapeake Bay Inquiry Students Used Glogster to create a webpage that expressed their new understandings Assessed the quality and effectiveness of classmates’ websites

3rd Grade Ecosystem/Graphic Novel Inquiry Students explored the characteristics of graphic novels through examination of examples and a read aloud of Adventures in Cartooning by James Sturm.

3rd Grade Ecosystem/Graphic Novel Inquiry Students used text features in nonfiction books and World Book Online to collect information on an ecosystem of choice.

3rd Grade Ecosystem/Graphic Novel Inquiry Students gave credit to their sources in a Thank You box.
