Information to Support CEAF: ISL Euro3 WWCP V6.4.7.1 Software Update 04/04/16 Internal Use Only

Project Scope Change Summary: Background: A new revision of the following ECM codes on the ISL Euro3 is being released, this is to make a product improvement. The ECM codes affected by this CEAF are: AX90123, AX90124, AX90125, AX90126, AX90127, AX90128 and AX90129. Background: The improvements being made to the above ECM codes are to only broadcast the ERC1 message when the Engine Brakes are Enabled, and also fix a tool adjustability issue with the Engine Brake Implementation Strategy and Date: Provisionally the implementation date for this project is 03/10/16 (week 40) Internal Use Only

Only broadcasting the ERC1 message when Engine Brakes are Enabled Background: Always broadcasting the ERC1 message, even when not populated has caused issues for some OEM’s controllers.  The proposed change will fix those issues whilst being low risk in installations where ERC is disabled. Previous Operation: Previously the message would be sent with all FF’s, apart from the controlling Source Address which is 0x29 when the ERC enable was set to 0 Proposed Operation: The new software only broadcasts the ERC1 message if the ERC enable is set to 1 Internal Use Only

Tool Adjustability issue with the Engine Brake Background: A problem has been reported that for the mentioned ECM codes it is currently not possible to select the type of Engine Brake being used in Insite Previous Operation: Previously if the Engine Brake feature was Enabled in INSITE when going to select the Engine Brake Type, the list just showed None Proposed Operation: The software change will make it possible to select “Exhaust Brake or Variable Geometry Turbocharger” Internal Use Only
