New questionnaire 2006 on data quality and data use Conclusion / discussion A more complete overview of the situation in the countries is necessary in order to consider the pre-filling of the JQ with data from the SBS. How can this aim be reached und thus the reporting burden for countries being reduced? Proposals on how to continue!
Data availability of environmental protection expenditure Data coverage for 2003 is clearly better than for 2004/2005 Data availability related to sectors (investments) - public sector - mining and quarrying - manufacturing industry - electricity, gas, water - specialised producers
.
Conclusions / discussion points Reply rate could be improved. Is the schedule for delivering the data too tight? Data report required for 2005 too early? Main problems during filling in the tables! Reasons for delay in providing data later than 2003 for some countries What is the attitude of the countries towards an extra sheet containing questions on resource management expenditure? See recommendation of the TF (6 February 2007) and proposal of the OECD.
