U3C11 The Age of Imperialism World History

Main Idea European powers came to rule a large portion of Africa and Asia between 1800 and 1920. Only Japan emerged as an independent power capable of challenging the West. In the Americas, the United States exercised greater influence over the affairs of their neighbors.
