Strategic Objectives 2016 to 2020 * The Board agreed a Business Strategy in June 2016 to respond to the challenges in the external operating environment and pursue the following objectives: Corporate Strategies Top 3 actions 1. Providing good and cost effective management of our properties. Active Asset Management plan for all assets Extension to older persons offer Digitalised self-service 2. Increasing our portfolio. Build /acquire at least 30 new homes p.a. (subsequently uplifted) Develop sales/shared ownership Develop our garage sites 3. Developing commercial and partnership opportunities. Establish a Cost Sharing Vehicle with Cumbrian landlords Consider forming a Joint Venture company with SLDC for new homes development Evaluation process to determine future partnership and merger opportunities 4. Improving the running of our business. Implement the recommendations from the Governance Review fully by 2018/19 Revise Terms and Conditions Refinance and obtain flexibilities *The Board is currently reviewing its objectives and ambitions for the future
