ORDER INFORMATION First Strike Environmental BAER Teams DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR – BURNED AREA EMERGENCY RESPONSE (BAER) TEAMS Refer to NMG Requests for BAER Teams or individual overhead to fill out a local BAER organization should be done in ROSS on an Overhead request (see NMG ). In the event the request is returned Unable to Fill the local (DOI) agency) unit may fill the request using a US FWS Regional Contract. The FWS IDIQ contract for BAER services is available for Emergency Stabilization (ES) and Burned Area Rehabilitation (BAR) Planning. Based upon the need of the local unit, the request can be for either a Team or individual specialist (overhead). To fill an order, a local contracting/procurement officer can call either vendor direct following notification to Karl Lautzenheiser, Contracting Officer, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 1 – (503) or
