Question For Discussion Why do they call the 1920s, the ‘roaring twenties’? Were also called the ‘Crazy Years’

Definition

Outline The 1920s was a decade of continuity and change. 4 years of hardships ushered in a new era for people in Canada. A decade defined by the economy, fashion, entertainment, greater personal freedom and social change. A mass consumer culture emerged in the 1920s based on a number of new consumer goods that made life ‘easier’. Entertainment plays an important role in the lives of many Canadians. Quality of life becomes a central issue for many North Americans, and more importantly Canadians.

New Era Age of new styles and new attitudes. People were eager to forget about the war. It is a FUN decade.
