Annual Legislative Report  Federal Report All Federal Issues & Projects – Paul Sweet, Advocate The proposed platforms serve several purposes amongst which: They create an umbrella set of policies and priorities for use by the County’s elected representatives in Washington D.C. and Sacramento, the County’s Legislative Advocates, and county staff as they participate in legislative activities. The Platforms also represent a means of identifying the County’s legislative agenda for 2008, and In addition, the Platforms allow for the County to take positions on pending legislation in a timely manner. While the Platforms serve key purposes, they are not intended to be a complete and final list of the County’s legislative issues and positions.

Priorities . . .Legislative Agenda of San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors Adoption of the County’s 2008 Proposed State and Federal Legislative Platforms and Regional Legislative Priorities is recommended.
