Presentation transcript:

Your Poster Title Here (72 to 96 pt font) Your name here, Degree Name, Texas A&M University Company or Organization Hosting Your Internship Name Here Company Organization Description (section headings 40-48 pt font) Description of Experience Poster is meant to be flexible with defined/standardized sections. Please keep the size 36X36. Use pictures or figures as much as possible to convey your message. Any text ought to be large enough for people to ready when standing 2 to 3 feet away. Feel free to change the background colors and or design of the headers as you would like. The idea is to simply use the template to organize your presentation. Each section can be whatever length you find appropriate to fully describe your internship. Provide a general description of the company or organization where you did your internship. Text here and throughout the poster should be 20-30 pt. Keep in mind that readers will be viewing this poster from a distance. Use pictures and figures as appropriate here and throughout the poster. With posters conveying information without text makes for a better experience for you the presenter and your audience at the symposium. It is excellent to include pictures (with descriptive legends) that show you doing aspects of your role in the internship. Insert your text here. Use pictures and figures as appropriate. Relationship to Career Goals Your text goes here. Use pictures and figures as appropriate. Internship Objectives Insert your own text here. Use pictures and figures as appropriate. References Your references go here. Give full citation for journal articles or other resource you utilized in assembling this poster. Acknowledgements This is where you thank anyone who helped you conduct your internship who is not listed as an author at the top of the poster. This might be someone who provided technical help or who advised or mentored you. It is also important to thank the source of your funding. Thanking people of a personal nature (e.g. your spouse or parents is not appropriate on a poster). { Please be sure to include the following sentence verbatim at the end of your acknowledgements} Sponsors for high impact experiences for BESC and the BESC poster symposium include the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology,  the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs.
