Location 2nd largest country by land area in the world Surrounded by three Oceans Atlantic on the east Arctic on the north Pacific on the west

Landforms The Rocky Mountains are found in western Canada and stretch over 3,000 miles long from British Columbia in Canada to New Mexico in the U.S.

Landforms The Canadian Shield covers a large part of the country surrounding Hudson Bay.

Landforms It is known for its thin, rocky soil and rough, rolling landscape. This region is rich in valuable minerals.

Landforms Fertile farmland is found in the St. Lawrence River Valley and Great Lakes region

Landforms Great Lakes-Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior (only Michigan is entirely in the US) Thousands of lakes and rivers, many carved by glaciers
