AIM: Sample Do now: 1. What is a mineral? 2. If you put different types of mineral, what are you creating?

Do Now: Answer the questions If you were a detective, what would you do to find a criminal? What evidence do you see in the picture?

Aim: What is in our blood? Complete the chart about blood. What do I already know about blood? What questions do I have about the blood? What I learned about the blood. For example) Where is the blood? Who has the blood? What does it look like? Color? States of matter? What does it do? Where can we find it? What happen if we don’t have it? Why do you think so? Feel free to discuss any questions you have about the blood. We will fill out this part at the end of the lesson. Discuss the role of the blood again. Discuss the role and relate the players of the blood. For example, when we are bleeding, there is something in our blood that makes stop bleeding

Roles of Blood Blood: blood is the main circulating fluid in the human body. Blood transports materials throughout the body inside blood vessels. It carries oxygen and foods to all parts of the body

Roles of Blood It takes out carbon dioxide and other waste materials from the body cells. Blood protects the body against the diseases by destroying germs. It prevents excessive bleeding of blood by blood clotting.
