Why return migrants? Return migration as reviewing in literatures on international return migration is lacking in depth Success and failure dichotomy which is shaped by many literatures has been criticized too narrow Huge study has been conducted on migration, but not many in the return of migration, especially in Vietnam.

Conclusion The return of migrants in Van Thang is not really associated with the unsuccessful of migration. In fact almost of returnees have satisfied with the life and employment at the destination. Agriculture plays as a buffer for the returnees during seeking other none farm employments in home village
