Live a Great Life …

‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard ‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John.  He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.

You were made for God – and until you understand that, life will never make sense. It is only in God that we discover our origin, our identity, our meaning, our purpose, our significance, and our destiny. Every other path leads to a dead end. Rick Warren

It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. Ephesians 1:11-12

Live a First Use Life …

‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard ‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John.  He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink …

Live a First Use Life …

You were made for God, not vice versa, and life is about letting God use you for His purpose, not your using him for your own purpose. Rick Warren

Christianity has to be disappointing, precisely because it is not a mechanism for accomplishing all our human ambition and aspirations; it is a mechanism for subjecting all things to the will of God. Simon Tugwell

Live a Big Life …

… he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born … he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.  He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God.  And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous – to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.’

Live a Big Life …

The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It’s far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose. Rick Warren
