Family Networks Web Census Network Provider staff update their Facility Profiles in the system.  The system allows users to enter information pertaining to facility capacity as well as current and projected availability promoting effective resource management.

Facility Census Navigation Pane The Census tab allows a service provider to update their Provider Profile. This information includes Services Provided, Capacity, Bed Accommodation characteristics such as Gender and/or Age, Supported Languages, and Supported Special Needs such as “Fire Setting”. This information can then be used by FamilyNet to help identify an appropriate placement when DSS Staff performs a Resource Search. Navigation Pane Click the “Facility” tab and select “Census” at the top left. Select the specific site location from the Navigation Pane. Click the “Update Organizational Profile” button.

Facility Census Important Note- The pre-populated information on the window comes from FamilyNet. For example, the “DSS Slots in Use” value is reflective of active FamilyNet service referrals that are pointing to this facility. Review the “Facility Information”. Change “Licensed Slots” and “Non-DSS Slots in Use” fields if necessary. Click “Save”.

Facility Availability/Demographic Preference Important Note- You will use the Availability/Demographic Preference function to indicate information such as program Capacity, Bed Accommodation characteristics and Supported Languages. Selected Agreement Model is highlighted. Select the specific “Agreement Model”. It should be highlighted as in the example above. Scroll down to the “Availability/Demographic Preference” section. Click the “Open” button to modify an existing entry, or “Add New” to create a new entry.

Availability/Demographic Preference Facility Availability/Demographic Preference Complete or update the necessary information and click “Save”.

Facility Special Needs 1. Select the correct site location in the Navigation Pane. 2. Click the “Special Needs” button to the right of the Agreement Model that you would like to update. 3. Use the Navigation Pane to select any of the characteristic categories that need to be updated or reviewed. These include Behavior, Cognitive, Emotional, Other, and Physical. 4. Use the checkboxes to indicate which characteristics your facility can provide services for. 5. Click Save.
