What is a Transcript? Name, Address, School Information List of all courses taken in high school A record of final grade earned in each class GPA Class Rank The best high school transcript will show consistent grades in a challenging course load.

What is GPA? Your GPA is your grade point average Your GPA is calculated by assigning each letter grade with a number value (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0) The sum of all of the grade points is divided by the number of classes taken The cumulative/overall GPA is reflected on your transcript The cumulative GPA is re-calculated every semester starting in 9 th grade and includes all grades earned during high school

What is Class Rank? A mathematical measure of how a student's performance compares to other students in his or her class compilation of courses and grades is converted to an overall grade point average (GPA) the higher the GPA, the higher the student's class ranking

Minimum Requirements for Grade Classification In order for students to be considered to be in the appropriate grade level, they must complete the following number of credits by August: Sophomore35 Junior70 Senior105 Students who have not attained the appropriate number of credits must remain in the previous years grade level. However, such action does not necessarily mean that a student cannot graduate with his original class. A School Counselor can best advise you with respect to your grade level status.
