What Is Desktop Filler FabSoft’s Desktop Filler solution replaces paper forms with electronic ones which allows them to be accessed, filled in and printed directly from the MFP screen or desktop When completed documents are scanned, they are automatically distributed to printers, fax, email and archival systems (C) 2013 FabSoft

Desktop Filler Process: Centralized Access Users can access all of their forms and packages of forms upon logging in at the MFP or desktop Accessible forms may vary depending on user or department DESKTOP MFP (C) 2013 FabSoft

Desktop Filler Process: Populate & Print Desktop Filler’s lookup field will quickly look up client information that will be used to fill in form fields Manually input patient fields as well Printed forms are populated with client information which eliminates any critical or crucial errors MFP (C) 2013 FabSoft

Desktop Filler Process: Automatic Distribution All forms are printed out with barcodes associated with data Once scanned, document is automatically routed by using the information tied to the barcode SCAN (C) 2013 FabSoft

Desktop Filler Process: Automatic Distribution (Continued…) Information that was used to fill in the form fields is archived to the digital archive system Searches can be performed using this information in order to quickly retrieve the form. (C) 2013 FabSoft

Example Desktop Filler Workflow A health insurance claim form is needed for the patient to fill out. The receptionist goes to the MFP screen (or the workstation) and selects the form from a drop down list of forms. After selecting, the receptionist looks up and selects the specific patient’s name from the hospital database or enters the patient’s information manually. This information is used to automatically fill in the form fields such as name, address, phone, insurance company etc. and the form is then printed. PRINT (C) 2013 FabSoft

Example Desktop Filler Workflow (CONTINUED…) As the patient goes through the hospital visit, the rest of the form fields are hand-written and signed accordingly. The updated form is then scanned.
