Church of England have moved slowly in 30 years (Paul Cartwright), what and where is the blockage? What are the issue relating to BAME in your area/parish? How can we be more proactive in encouraging Diversity? (What practical help can we provide?) Are we prepared to go on the journey with others or are we staying in the place forever?

What we can do Promote the BME Vocation Identify the potential In our parishes at Synod/Chapter Identify the potential We know our parishes and congregations We are the front line recruiters and gatekeepers Provide people with a real chance and responsibility in the parish BME Vocation needs to be continuously nurtured
