Integrity Firm observance of core ethical values.

Working Towards a Positive Identity Recognize your strengths and weaknesses Demonstrate positive values Develop a purpose in your life Form meaningful relationships Avoid unhealthful high-risk behaviors Contribute to the community

Constructive Criticism Non-hostile comments that point out problems and encourage improvement Positive way to give meaningful suggestions without judging how a person performed that task!!

Guided Practice With a partner you will complete a role-play conversation in which a teen experiences a disappointing situation or event. You may choose a situation from the phone booth scenario sheet or make up your own between your partner. In one role-play, the teen must respond with negative self-talk. In another role-play the teen must respond with positive self-talk! Each person must write a paragraph comparing the negative self-talk role-play to the positive self-talk role-play. What did the negative self-talk role plays have in common? What did the positive self-talk role-plays have in common?
