Graduation Requirements – College Prep Subject Number of Credits (or units) English 4 Math 3 Science History Computer Technology or Foreign Language 2 Additional Unit from Above Courses 1 Fine Arts Personal Financial Literacy Must pass 14 competencies CPR Taken in Freshman Success Total Credits 26

Credit: What you earn when you pass a class. Each class counts as ½ a credit each semester. Semester 1 – August to December Semester 2 – January to May You can earn 3 ½ credits each semester. 7 credits for an entire year. You need 26 credits to graduate from Mustang High School.

Complete Enrollment Form Continued Select Electives: Art, Music, Drama, Sports, FACS, Computers….. Make sure every blank is filled with an elective and course number! Choose wisely! If not enough electives are filled out, your counselor will pick classes for you!

Freshman Success Freshman orientation class that will assist students in the transition from middle school to high school. All freshman are required to take this course. Topics included, but not limited to: CPR – graduation requirement Study and test taking skills Anti-Bullying awareness School pride/getting involved Stress Management (suicide prevention) College/Career information Resumes/interview skills 4 year plan for high school
