Introduction We have chosen the water topic because we think that there are people who, in this moment need water so much. And we are going to explain to you why water is important.

What’s the problem? The people in rich countries waste a lot of water , they don’t care about how much water they spend. Also, people in poor countries don’t have access to potable water. They have to walk 3 or 4 km to get water from a river and they don’t know if that water is potable.

What can we do? Close the tap when not in use, for example: when we brush our teeth. Have a shower instead of a bath. Do not use the washing machine many times, so we save water, detergent and electricity. When it rains we will collect water. For example to irrigate the garden.

How to change the situation? Organize a meeting with students from different grades of the school to explain to them why water is important for life. Look for sponsors to build a well. Organize a fund-raising event with a famous person to collect money.

CONCLUSION We must save water, and do all we can to help the people who need water. We need to think about the people who do not have water and put ourselves in their situation, that is why we must conserve water.
