Insert CD in drive and click Upload exams button

Upload from disc to Life Image Select all exams, then click on Continue

Upload from disc to Life Image Put in MR number Then change upload exams to Hospital and click Upload exams

Nominate from Life Image to PACS Open HOSPITAL InBox Open HOSPITAL InBox

Nominate from Life Image to PACS Select each study needed, then select More

Nominate from Life Image to PACS Click on PACS Enter Ordering Physician Confirm MR# Select Consult Select Radiology PACS Select Radiology PACS You must enter some history Then click Nominate Exam

Pushing study from Life Image to PACS

You now have a new tab WORKLIST Select Nominations Then select the studies you want to push to PACS

Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Select Process Confirm information, then click Process

Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Search By Patient MRN Then click Look Up

Radiology orders for that MRN will pop up below. If nothing pops up, there are no orders pending. Otherwise, click Send to PACS w/o order Otherwise, click Send to PACS w/o order If an order to read this outside image is active, select it, then click Continue

Pushing study from Life Image to PACS Destination System: PACS Then click Send to PACS Then click Send to PACS If the patient has any images on PACS under this MR number, you will get this message. What if you need an image read by our radiologists? 2.Associate order with image during push to PACS If an order to read this outside image is active, select it, then click Continue

What if you need an image read by our radiologists? 3.Call Radiology Tech at or Film Library at to have an Ascension number created to link the order and the image. (It wont show up in the Radiology reading room queue without this step) 4.Call the Radiology resident at if you need the images read STAT. Otherwise they are at the bottom of the queue. * We are in the process of trying to eliminate having to make a call to have images read. Work in progress.
