MONEY AND PAYMENTS Invoices Invoices are sent via email, usually one term ahead. Special events may require an additional invoice. Invoices and payment information can be viewed on QParents. statements Statements are sent as a form of communication, you will only receive one if you have money outstanding. Student illnesses/infectious diseases Student absences If your child is going to be absent from school please leave a message on the STUDENT ABSENCE LINE 3511 3360 or report the absence on QParents before 8:50am. An absence of 10 or more school days requires an exemption form. Please contact the office. Student illnesses/infectious diseases If your child has an infectious disease for example whooping cough please notify the school. Student medications Students requiring medication whilst at school require a form to be filled out prior to any staff administering the medication at school.

Communication about student learning Report Cards Each semester families will electronically receive a report card on student achievement.   Report cards are also available from QParents. Additionally, invoices and payment information can be access in QParents. Celebration of Learning Each semester families will be invited to celebrate their child’s learning.

Communication about student learning Parent / Teacher Interviews Each semester families will have the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher. Parents and teachers can also request to schedule a time together to discuss complex learning needs and support. If you received such a request from your child’s teacher please respond promptly. Student Portfolio of Assessment Summative assessment items are moderated across the year level, collated in a portfolio and are available for parental perusal.

School Committees and informative sources TGSS School Council The school council monitors and informs the school's strategic direction to achieve the best learning outcomes. TGSS P&C The P&C work in productive partnership with the school and community to promote the interests of the school. Student Support Groups The P&C sub committees support extra curricula activities within the school. Class Parent Representative Each class has a parent representative who liaises each term with the school and contacts class parents.
