6X 09-21-2016 Wednesday North American Societies. Objective: Describe early North American societies. Agenda: Prayer Do Now: How are geography and history related? Examine primary sources Share findings with class, organize our information in a table in our notes Homework: Study for the quiz on Monday 9/26

P – What can you tell about the government/leaders?   E – What can you tell about the societies wealth, trade, etc? R – What can you tell about the societies religion, beliefs, and values? S – What can you tell about how different groups of people in this society interacted with each other? What kinds of groups of people might have they had? I – Intellectual: What kinds of sciences might this society have studied? How advanced were they? G – What can you tell about the environment this society might have lived in? Where in North America do you think they lived? A – What kinds of art did this society value? What does their artwork say about them?

Analyze primary sources Examine the pictures of primary sources that was given to your group and discuss. Predict what they’re PERSIGA was like. Record your predictions on the table in your notebook. The whole group, each person needs to write it in their notebook: Write an A+ answer that summarizes your predictions. Be sure to give us evidence from the picture as to why you predicted what you did. Be prepared to present your findings to the class.
