Background Sustainable City Commission and Office of Sustainability created in 2008 Sustainable City Action Plan adopted in 2010 Annual Work Plan developed to guide activities for coming year Office of Sustainability has created a number of ongoing programs that benefit homeowners You can help spread the word about these programs. There are still EV chargers to give away. The UAIZ program can help owners save money. Outreach and owner workshop are planned for later this year, but we are maintaining a list of interested farmers, community organizations, and property owners. Anyone interested can contact Sustainability@longbeach.gov for more information. More on Green Business and CAAP in the next slides.

Programs for Residents Parkway Tree Planting Long Beach residents, businesses, and community organizations can apply to have a free tree planted by our office in their parkway.
