There are still EV chargers to give away. The UAIZ program can help owners save money. Outreach and owner workshop are planned for later this year, but we are maintaining a list of interested farmers, community organizations, and property owners. Programs for Residents Parkway Tree Planting Long Beach residents, businesses, and community organizations can apply to have a free tree planted by our office in their parkway. Mulch Delivery and Pickup The City’s regular street tree trimming operations create green waste that can be reused as mulch. Mulch is provided free of charge for pickup any time, or free delivery can be scheduled. Anyone who would like a parkway tree or a mulch delivery can find more information online www.LBSustainability.com (program links are on the right hand side).
