Britain agreed that… The U.S. was free and independent. The new boundaries were now: the Mississippi River, the southern border of Canada and the northern border of Spanish Florida. Americans could finish in the waters of Canada(which belong to the British) Debts would be paid back. If slaves were captured, they would be returned. *** Spain got Florida back.
