Discharge Requirements For discharge to surface water: AKG573000 Small Domestic Lagoons General Permit Less than 1,000,000 gallons per day Discharge to Land or Subsurface Compliance Order by Consent (Case-by-Case Basis) Improving and Protecting Alaska's Water Quality

Bypass Conditions 18 AAC 83.415 (a) Bypass is prohibitied…., unless The bypass was unavoidable to prevent loss of life, personal injury, or severe property damage There were no feasible alternatives Provide notice to the DEC 10 days in advance for an anticipated bypass – must received DEC approval Unanticipated bypass, 24-hour notice as required by 18 AAC 83.410 Improving and Protecting Alaska's Water Quality

Bypass Conditions 18 AAC 83.415 (b) …a permittee may allow a bypass that Does not cause an effluent limitation to be exceeded; and Is for essential maintenance to assure efficient operation. Improving and Protecting Alaska's Water Quality
