Logos=Logic which includes facts and stats Read chp. 3 of Animal Farm Finish comprehension ?’s for chapters 1-3 Trade and Grade

Rhetorical Devices: Ways to Persuade People to the Way you think use the video on the next slide to create notes Rhetoric 3 means of Persuasion Created by: Ethos Logos Pathos Ethos Rhetorical Triangle Logos Pathos

Rhetorical Devices find the answers about rhetoric Using this Video Obj: I will be able to gather information from the Ted Ed video in order to better comprehend how people are persuaded to do things in order to apply this to my understanding of Animal Farm.

Rhetorical Device: Group work With your Shoulder Partner or in Table groups if you have 3 people (15 min) Create ways to remember Ethos, Logos and Pathos and what they stand for EX. Logos=Logic which includes facts and stats Rhetorical Device: Group work Obj: I will be able to break apart what I learned about Rhetorical Devices in order to create ways in which understand there differences so that I can apply this to my analysis of Animal Farm.

Finish comprehension ?’s for chapters 1-3 Class work: Obj: I will be able to read and Analyze animal Farm while taking what I know about Rhetorical Devices in order to determine how the animals were persuaded to revolt much like the leaders of the Russian revolution. Read chp. 3 of Animal Farm Finish comprehension ?’s for chapters 1-3 Trade and Grade (Friday as Warm Up)
