Philanthropy Example: A donor (private person, foundation or company) gives money to an organization. To a specific project or in general. Can also be in-kind.

Corporate Responsibility The responsibility that the company takes in their daily operation and in the footprint they leave after themselves.

Of the worlds 100 biggest economies – 69 are corporations Of the worlds 100 biggest economies – 69 are corporations. Wall-mart has the same financial power / turnover as Sweden as a country. There is no better way to reach the daily life of children as through corporates. Do not forget the power corporates has in changing and challenging political will. For corporates – this is all about risk management!

Children´s Rights & Business Principles A joint project between Save the Children, Unicef and UN Global Compact to give company´s an inspirational tool in regards to taking a responsibility for children´s rights. The process: research – consultation - dialogue Launched in May 2012 in London.

How can CP be of relevance to a company? Being a good corporate citizen Follow rules and regulations Inside and out. Work within the company and out into their sphere of influence (ie the milk packages) Co-workers responsibility – attracting good workers Risk management

Concrete examples Assist in internal steering documents Code of conducts Procurement policy / Child labor policy Travel policy Co-workers are also parents, care-givers or young workers. Go in and teach. Help the company in understanding their possibilities to be a change-agent. How it will benefit them.
