Project TELESOL – bringing the best EU telework solutions to CIS countries WWDU2002 Germany, May 2002

Goals of the project: to create awareness of the telework advantages in the business and research communities; to study the experience and best practices of telework in the EU countries; to identify local telework problems; to create new EU-CIS contacts in the telework area; to start new business telework projects WWDU2002 Germany, May 2002

Project participants - members of business and research communities in the participating countries, with a positive experience in the telework: WWDU2002 Germany, May 2002

To identify (EU) teleworking tools, which can be used in CIS telework: documentation and project support tools; network (VPN) tools; printing tools; … To identify (EU) methodologies in telework, which can be used in CIS telework To bring these tools and methodologies to CIS countries WWDU2002 Germany, May 2002

Aspects of telework which are to be covered in the project TELESOL: state of communications, technical development, necessary hardware/software… legal, financial, fiscal issues, cultural diversity; management of the synchronous work, quality control, certification, telework personnel development; distributed office as a telework within one company; tele-services (tele-medicine, tele-education, …) WWDU2002 Germany, May 2002
